AAA Foundation
The Greater Akron/Canton Area Agency on Aging Foundation has a mission to help older adults who have no options for assistance from government programs. We do this by raising money through two fundraisers.
Care for a Lifetime - As our main fundraiser for consumer services, this campaign involves asking for donations to support consumers in the community who would otherwise have no options for help. Services are provided though our Care Coordination program. For more information on Care Coordination, please click here.
Foundation Raffle - Our annual raffle features amazing prizes! In the past we have raffled off:
- Trips to Hawaii
- Trips to New York City
- A Trip to the Bahamas
- Home Theatre Systems including flat panel High Definition Televisions
- $2000 Visa Giftcards
- Thousands of dollars in gift certificates from Gasser & Sons Jewelry
- Romantic getaways to the Bertram Inn in Aurora
- And more!
The Foundation Raffle has been a tremendous success for us, and it keeps growing! The money we raise from the raffle goes to our outreach efforts to educate people about the needs of older adults in their neighborhoods who can't get help.
