Older adults can be vulnerable to abuse, neglect, or exploitation by others or themselves. The Area Agency advocates for these older adults.
The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program provides advocates to help resolve problems at facilities, home, or wherever people choose to receive their long-term care. Examples of this advocacy would be investigating complaints of theft, physical abuse, neglectful care and more. Click here for more information on our Ombudsman Program.
If you would like to make a referral to an Adult Protective Services worker please call the numbers to the right. The Area Agency on Aging can also direct you to the correct agency.
