Protecting Older Adults

Older adults can be vulnerable to abuse, neglect, or exploitation by others or themselves. The Area Agency advocates for these older adults.

The Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program provides advocates to help resolve problems at facilities, home, or wherever people choose to receive their long-term care. Examples of this advocacy would be investigating complaints of theft, physical abuse, neglectful care and more. Click here for more information on our Ombudsman Program.
