There are a wide variety of choices for information and education provided by the Area Agency on Aging. Below are brief summaries of each. If you do not see what you are looking for, please click here to email an Aging Resource Center representative.

  • Information and Assistance - Telephone contact with Aging Resource Center representatives and in-home assessments to answer all of your long-term care questions.
  • Family Caregiver Support Program - Information on frequently asked questions submitted by caregivers, newsletters to read, how to contact a caregiver support consultant, and more.
  • Advocacy - Contact your elected representatives and other information on how you can help make a difference.
  • Health Promotion - How to be healthy and avoid some chronic conditions. This area will help you in your quest for wellness.
  • Emergency Preparedness - Information on how to prepare for emergencies before they happen.
  • Census Information - Facts and figures relating to older adults in our area.
  • Finding a Home Care Provider - Lists of providers in your county who you can contact to buy services from to help you at home. The lists are the providers we use for the PASSPORT program.*
  • Continuing Education Programs - Programs for professionals in the area of Social Work, Nursing and other older adult-related subjects.
  • Family Caregiver Training Program - Information on training programs we offer for Family Caregivers.
  • Speaker’s Bureau - Learn more about what the Area Agency on Aging can offer.
  • ConnectMeOhio - This is your first stop for information about home and community based services, supports and opportunities for older adults, persons with disabilities and caregivers in Ohio.
