Home Care Providers

If an older adult does not qualify for one of our home care service programs, he or she can buy these services from area providers. This is known as a Private Pay Arrangement.

Services that can be purchased include but are not limited to:

  • Adult Day Care:Out-of-home program of structured activities in a group setting. Transportation (if necessary) is provided.
  • Chore: Major housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning windows, walls and carpets, as well as pest control.
  • Homemaker: Assistance with shopping, meal planning and preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Home Delivered Meals: Hot or frozen meals delivered to the home.
  • Minor Home Modification: Home improvements and repairs related to safety or accessibility.
  • Personal Care: Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Safety Monitoring: Electronic unit that alerts family, friends or caregivers if the older person needs help.
